Partner Raja Eileen Soraya, in her capacity as President of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia (MLSM), and Ramakrishna Tharini, another member of the Executive Committee of the MLSM, were interviewed on the popular BFM radio show “The Bigger Picture”. This was aired on 9th October 2019. The topic of discussion, namely “Speaking for the Unspoken”, centred on the rights of the elderly, in particular in regard to their legal right to know about their medical condition and to make their own decisions as to their treatment. Raja Eileen Soraya and Ramakrishna also highlighted other relevant issues pertaining to the elderly and gave their suggestions as to the provisions that should be covered in the proposed Elderly Care Act.
