Partner Charlaine Adrienne Chin was invited by Microsoft and Women Who Code (KL) to speak at one of their recent events targeted at women in technology across all industries. Each event comprised 2 sessions i.e. one on soft skills and another on deep tech/citizen tech. Her topic being “Speaking up at the Workplace”, Charlaine helped her audience to explore the ways to find their voice, the issues to consider when speaking up and the collective importance of taking a stand and voicing their opinions. She also drew on her experience in RDL and emphasised the importance of cultivating a healthy, conducive and progressive environment
The other speakers were K. Raman, Managing Director of Microsoft (Malaysia), who talked about how Microsoft is leading a paradigm shift from ‘knowing it all’ to ‘learning it all’ within its organisation, and Lisa Chan, General Manager of Petronas Group Digital, who shared about cultural transformation as a core part of digital transformation.
