Our lawyers are graduates from recognised universities in Australia, England, Wales, New Zealand, Singapore as well as universities in Malaysia. Although all are advocates and solicitors, some are also arbitrators, mediators, registered patent agents, registered trade mark agents and/or registered industrial designs agents. The languages used for verbal and written communication are primarily English and Malay, but many of our lawyers are also proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written), various Chinese dialects and Tamil.
Led by the three senior partners who form the Executive Committee, the legal team is a blend of experience and youth. Some of our lawyers are members of international organizations that are affiliated to law and business, such as the International Bar Association, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association and the International Trade Marks Association, while the firm is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, the International Chamber of Commerce (Malaysia National Group), the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce, the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce, the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Malaysia Australia Business Council.
