Maidzuara Mohammed appointed Judicial Commissioner of the High Court of Malaya

The firm is proud to announce that seasoned litigator Maidzuara Mohammed was sworn in as a Judicial Commissioner on 3rd May 2019.

Maidzuara has extensive experience in corporate, commercial and civil disputes. Her focus in recent years was on medical negligence cases, in relation to which she appeared before the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court on numerous occasions.  

One of the few members of the Malaysian Bar to have been appointed by the Chief Judge of Malaya to the Advocates and Solicitors’ Disciplinary Board, which is the apex body regulating and controlling all disciplinary actions against advocates and solicitors under the Legal Profession Act 1976, Maidzuara was also Co-Deputy Chairperson of the Advocacy Training Committee of the Malaysian Bar Council and the immediate Past Vice-Chair of the Legal Development and Training Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
