Our Partner Charlaine Adrienne Chin, who handles medical negligence and healthcare and is on the Executive Committee of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia, was a guest speaker at the 18th Annual General Meeting and Annual Scientific Meeting of the Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia on 17th August 2019, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
As the only legal practitioner among a host of local as well as international medical experts, most of whom were consultant neurosurgeons, Charlaine gave her audience a valuable insight into the “Medicolegal Aspects of Neurosurgical Practice in Malaysia”. The President of the Association informed the participants that the addition of the talk on medicolegal issues was a unique first. We are sure that Charlaine’s session was an eye-opener to those present and helped them consider relevant issues in their medical practice.
