The Firm advised (a) Silverlake Cloud Mezzanine Sdn Bhd, (b) Silverlake Identity and Security Technology Sdn Bhd, (c) Silverlake Mathematical iFintech Sdn Bhd and (d) Zezz FundQ Pte Ltd, all of which are companies owned by Mr Goh Peng Ooi, the major shareholder of Silverlake Axis Ltd (listed on SGX) (“SAL”), in relation to the proposed disposal to SAL of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of (i) Silverlake Cloud Computing Sdn Bhd, (ii) Silverlake MasterSAM Sdn Bhd and (iii) Silverlake MasterSAM Pte Ltd for an aggregate purchase consideration of RM23 million.
The conditional Share Sale and Purchase Agreement was executed on 21 May 2024. The transaction team – led by Partner Chong Kok Seng, who was assisted by Associates Muhammad Muhaimin and Nor Aina Tsuraiya – will continue to advise on the completion of the transaction.
