The basic medico-legal principals are well worn and well entrenched in the legal vernacular. But how well do these principles and known comforts fare in the middle of a pandemic? In this session, we explore whether these principles, which for so long formed part of the bulwark of the medico-legal structure, are rigid and unmovable during times of crises, or whether competing interests come into play that call for a more malleable approach.
